Examples of Games in Education


During my research, I came across a lot of fascinating videos and lesson plans created by teachers who are already using games in education. I posted them here for people who want to see exactly how these games are being used. Most of the following examples are from commercial games developed to be educational. If you find any that should be here, please send them to me!

One of the documents I prepared for the Center for Excellence in Education was a game guide for teachers. Feel free to download it below. The most current copy is from August 1st, 2012. It currently lists 11 games that are either free or under $10 that have proven useful in the classroom or show great potential.
